If you’re thinking about buying or selling real estate in Prescott, Arizona, you’re probably asking yourself one question.
How can I find an agent that I can trust?
I’m going to tell you how to do it.
Hey. I’m Conrad Walton. My website is PrescottRealEstate.com.
When I was younger, I thought all real estate agents were only out for money, and I didn’t trust any of them.
Now that I am one, and I work with them every day, I’ve found that almost all of them are great people who want to help their client.
You will be pretty safe with any of them, but like any group of people, there are better and worse ones.
How do you pick a better one?
You could always talk to that lady you know from that local organization you belong to.
But how would you know if she had the knowledge and experience to protect you if things go sideways?
You could also talk to that guy who has those signs all over town.
But how would you know if he has the time and attention to listen to you about what you actually care about?
My advice? You should talk to at least 3 agents. Ask them for references or reviews.
What is their experience? Who do they work for? Do they communicate well?
I was talking with a potential client who was also going to talk to another agent about representing them.
I knew the other agent, and told the client 5 objective ways I would do a better job than them.
The client told me that they were going to use the other agent because they had neighbors who had gone out to dinner with the other agent, and the neighbors were friends this agent.
I know that takes a little time and effort on your part, but buying or selling real estate is a big deal, and there is a potential for disaster.
If you were to talk to me, I would tell you that a couple years ago, I started asking clients for reviews. Now, I have a 5 star rating. Look me up.
I’ve been licensed for over 10 years, so I have the experience you need.
My broker is Realty ONE Group Mountain Desert, one of the largest brokerages in Prescott, with over 200 agents.
I’ve seen some difficult transactions, and made some mistakes along the way, which I’ve learned from.
Watch some of my videos to get to know me a bit better.
